Tribute To The Late Paul Walker

The world tragically lost an automotive icon, actor, philanthropist, and overall kindhearted individual two weeks, Paul Walker.  Widely known for his role in the Fast and the Furious as Brian O'Conner. He was renowned for playing his role as the boy racer, import tuner turned police officer. Many adults, teenagers, and kids had felt like Paul Walker was apart of our life, by playing his character in the  Fast and the Furious series. He was also known for his work in Varsity Blues, She's All That, Takers, Eight Below, Into the Blue, and Joy Ride.  It is a shame to see someone that felt so close in our lives lose their life at the young age of 40. On November 30, 2013 on a charity event for his foundation called Reach Out Worldwide for the victims of the Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rhodas died in a car accident in his 2005 Porshe Carrera GT. They had crashed the car into a light pole and a tree, as a result the car had burst into flames.  Roger had died from multiple traumatic injuries and Paul had died from traumatic and thermal injures. The vehicles that Paul Walker drove in the Fast and Furious series will always be apart of our memories.  Take a look at the vehicles he drove in each movie. Fast and Furious cars

Of course, Paul Walker's Garage would not be complete without the Nissan Skyline.

I can honestly say I was in shock to hear the news and had wished it was some kind of publicity hoax. I felt as though it was important for me to write something about Paul Walker.  He was an impact in life as an car fanatic and I will always remember the memories he gave to us.  Beyond his life on the screen, he was making a difference through his charity foundation. I can say that I have that much more respect for him as an actor and car enthusiast when someone can put their time and effort to make a difference in the world around us.  Life is so precious and one event can change our lives completely.  Take some time to appreciate the time we have one another in life because we are all lucky to live each new day. Thank you Paul Walker for the memories and the sacrifices that you have made in your life. You will always have a place in our hearts.
