On a very hot August the 11th, over a thousand Mustang enthusiasts came together for the 5th Annual American Muscle Mustang Car Show at the Delaware County Community Campus in Media, Pennsylvania. The car show was sponsored by American Muscle to raise money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for childhood cancer. There were so many Mustangs that there was not enough parking to display all these ponies. There was plenty of food, music, special guests, and especially these beautiful Mustangs. One of the most exciting events that happened within the car show was the dyno contest between the 2013 Boss 302, 2004 SVT Cobra, and 2014 GT500. Crowds of people had hovered around the dyno to hear the roar of these ponies at work and find out the horsepower numbers that they produced. There was two awesome special guests, Chip Foose and Vaughn Gittin Jr., who had tons of people waiting to meet them. It is really an amazing feat to see so many Mustang enthusiasts come across the northeast to bond over the same common ground.
To say the least, I was pretty BLOWN AWAY by this event! You rarely see this many of the same vehicle come together quite like this. There were tons of people having a great time. From what I have read about this event in the past, it just keeps getting bigger and better. It is that growth that shows that the community among Mustang owners is even more resilient than ever. American Muscle is doing one spectacular job bringing these Mustang enthusiasts together. If I get the opportunity, I would enjoy coming out to this event again. Take a look at some of the Mustangs I caught at this event.
